Fortifications can be attached to lands in much the same way as equipment can be attached to creatures
It's a very Commander-esque ability in hindsight, but the design team didn't even think of a Commander format at the time, and they wanted people to build decks around it, so it was intentionally a non-legendary creature so they could take multiple copies out on the battlefield
You will Tag Duel them to get past, but afterwards Chazz points out that if Blair loved Jaden she came with the wrong person
you literally can't get a PSA-graded copy of this card that has a superior grade
Still, this last part should be up to the discretion of the event organizer, but chances are that this isnt something you should expect to see in a Pro Tour or any competitive setting
