I just think the card is well executed it being an artifact plays well with Urzas Saga, Improvise and Springleaf Drum, and unlike Thalia, Guardian of Thraben where youre locked out by the tax, you have the choice with Esper Sentinel which presents interesting in-game decisions as you have to balance the tax on the mana versus providing your opponent with card advantage a similar decision to that of being on the play or on the draw

These cards are sought after by collectors and fans, usually fetching better prices than non-holographic cards

Both are spins off of manifest/morph with the addition of ward

You can get fatter dorks for the cost such as Polukranos, you can get more resilient dorks such as Thrun the Last Troll

Play this card as a great early-game setup to make way for some excellent Shift cards that are sure to cause a stir
