Serial #D110 dating the reel to 1949, shortly after his move from Brooklyn. Right hand retrieve. Excellent overall condition. No cracks in the hard rubber. Model 400s were made with a multiplying gear. The drag is still perfectly strong and smooth. Two items to note: 1) There are some very lightly etched initials in the headplate. See last photo.
