In the artists' own words: "ABBA was recorded during the summer of 2021 in my garage in Mlndal outside of Gothenburg. I believe the album has some kind of loner ambient lo fi vibe all over it. I have tried to create a warm feeling permeated by longing and loneliness. It's far from a happy album and it contains no hit songs, but I think there is a feeling of hope
